The Swim Factory Australia celebrated a birthday of 30 years young in 2022, and we are about to embark on the most exciting phase of our life yet! A brand-new centre at Spring Mountain is opening very soon, closely followed by fantastic new facilities at Plainland!

We are seeking instructors to join the team - both qualified and those keen to learn and eager to undertake the necessary training to become qualified. 

The Swim Factory team:

Will guide you through the qualification process in a safe and encouraging environment

Provide hands on experience with in-water and out-water training

Provide expert inhouse assessors for final sign off

Have an amazing, passionate and dedicated team that are willing to share their knowledge and experience.

It is mandatory for Swim Instructors to be qualified as a minimum, with the following:

• Learn to Swim Teaching Accreditation– LTS Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety (Austswim), or Swim Australia Teacher (ASCTA)
• Valid Working with Children Blue Card
• Valid CPR

Administrator:

• Flexible hours/days
• Plainland location (+ opportunities in Ipswich, Springfield, and Spring Mountain!)
• Multiple casual positions (circa 10-30 hrs pw)

Successfully operating since 1992, The Swim Factory Australia is a local icon. With locations established in Springfield Central and Ipswich, Spring Mountain and Plainland will be opening very soon! Our facilities offer indoor, heated pools and we conduct swimming lessons all year round.

The satisfaction of teaching (mainly) children to swim is a feeling that is shared by the whole team at The Swim Factory. But it’s not all about ‘teaching swimming’; our goal is to build relationships and communities, and our employees play a massive part with their enthusiasm, dedication and energy.

About the Role

Our brilliant administration team provide a very high standard of customer service to our families, ensuring that class bookings and enquiries are handled efficiently and professionally. The role requires our team to be flexible and available to work shifts that cover both weekdays and weekends (perfect for fitting around your personal commitments such as study, family responsibilities etc). We are looking for people who love to talk to customers (the young and not-so-young!), who actively problem solve, offer solutions and have a ‘get on and do’ attitude to their work.

Ideally you have some experience in administration, particularly in a customer-centric position. In addition, we would love it if you:

• Are adaptable to quickly learn new systems and processes, but also happy to share your skills, knowledge and ideas!
• Thrive working in a very busy environment
